This week, you will each create an art blog in class. To get started, you will each have an opportunity to work on familiarizing yourself with blogger and to customize your own page.
For your first assignment, I would like each of you to write an introduction post. Your introduction is your chance to tell our classroom community a little more about yourself and your interests.
Your introduction must include the following:
- Your first name or alias.
- Three of your interests. This can be art related, or you could tell us about how you are a basketball or track star!
- Your favorite artist or work of art. You should include a picture of the artwork or a work that you find inspiring by your favorite artist. If you need suggestions, I am happy to help!
- You must include the artist's name, year the work was made, title of the work, and medium that was used to create the work.
- A picture of a work that you have made that you are proud of. With your picture, you should include:
- a brief description of the project the work was for.
- The title of the artwork, year it was made, and medium used to create the work.
- What you like about the work you chose.
- One thing you would do differently if you could redo the artwork.
- One of your personal goals. Tell us something you would like to accomplish in the next year, five years, or ten years.
- How you feel art influences your life.
- Your blog should have a picture of your artwork added to your background.
